BAT HABITAT
The BATitat is designed to house bats. Depending on the quantity of bats you wish to attract, we offer variable size BATitats with single, double, and triple chambers. Built to the specifications of the Bat Conservation International.
Product include 100% Western Red Cedar, caulk-sealed joints, gabled roof with asphalt shingles, exterior screws, ventilation gap, a landing pad, scored interior, and nailing flange.
SCREECH OWL HABITAT
The Screech Owl Habitat is designed to provide a nesting shelter. The American Kestrel are a welcome visitor that may also use this habitat as they require the similar nesting conditions as the Screech Owl.
Place bedding of wood chips in box and clean out after each use. To access interior of the box, remove the nail on front panel and pull up on side panel. Mount this habitat structure 12-30 ft. above ground in a tree, pole, or building wall at forest edge or open area.
Product include 100% sustainably harvested redwood, gabled roof, exterior screws, hinged side panel as a clean-out access point, 3” hole, and nailing flange.
BUTTERFLY HABITAT
The Butterfly Habitat is designed to provide a place of refuge for butterflies. This habitat structure offers protection from the weather (wind and rain) and predators (birds). The butterfly will enter through the slots on the front.
Place bark or twigs inside the box. Butterflies like to latch on and hang on woody material. To access interior of the box pull up on side panel. Mount this butterfly habitat on a 5/8″ copper pipe in the garden, amongst flowers that attract butterflies, such as Joe Pye Weed, Milkweed, and Monarda.
Product include sustainably harvested redwood, western red cedar, gabled roof, exterior screws, hinged side panel as a clean-out access point, entrance slats, and hole in bottom panel to insert a pipe.
